Farafina Institute's Annual Planning Meeting - Brief Report
The meeting of the Board of Directors took place at a crucial time when Farafina is strategizing its establishment of branch offices in different African countries and is targeting its consolidation and activities in Germany and Europe to currently relevant issues.
The board reviewed the 2015 activities, discussed and approved the work plan for 2016 and the relating objectives.

Workshop "Participate" - Reflections
A motivated and inspirational group of 30 young people with African origins from the United Kingdom (London, Essex, Edmonton and Mitcham) and Germany (Berlin, Stuttgart, Munich, Bamberg) came together for three days for the 1st workshop ‘Participate’ in Berlin.

Workshop "Participate" - Erasmus+ Project "Empowering Young People of African Origin for Political"
The workshop is going to take place from 26 to 28 November 2016 in Berlin. It is the first workshop and one of the key activities of the project, which is coordinated by Farafina Institute and funded by the European Commission, Directorate General Education and Culture through Erasmus+. The related Key Action is "Support for Policy Reform".
Farafina partners for this project are AKOMA Bildung & Kultur (German partner) and African & Caribbean Diversity (UK partner).
