Director of Africa Coordination Unit

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in 'Culture and Society in Africa and African Development Studies in Geography' at the University of Bayreuth, Germany and Master of Arts in 'Culture and Social Anthropology' from the same university.

He has conducted extensive anthropological fieldwork in Bamako, Mali in 2007, and in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2010. His MA studies were funded by a scholarship from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. In 2006, Mr Doumbia worked as lecturer of the Bambara language (a West African language) at the University of Bayreuth.

Currently, he is a doctoral student in the Anthropology Department of the University of Bayreuth.
