Comparative Study of Mining Sector Governance in the Gulf of Guinea

The case of Angola, DR Congo, Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana



Farafina Institute and the Gulf of Guinea Research Group are initiating currently a comparative study of extractive sector governance in the gulf of Guinea. The study aims at providing an overview over the extractive industries values chain, including legislations and regulations for the extractive sector in Angola, DR Congo, Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. Moreover, the study investigates how political settlement and extractive industries value chain shape or impact each other.
